Welcoming a New Lift General Manager

Welcome Connie Gallippi

We had a great response to our search for a GM for the Lift. There were plenty of qualified candidates. Sadly, we had to choose just one. We are pleased to welcome Connie Gallippi to our team. Connie lives in Truckee and has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and entrepreneurship which will be invaluable as we transition to a community benefit nonprofit.

Connie’s previous role was Founder and Executive Director of BitGive, the first Bitcoin 501c3 nonprofit serving global philanthropy projects in 29 countries. Prior to founding BitGive, Connie worked with environmental nonprofits for 15 years, specializing in strategy development, policy and advocacy, and public funding for conservation, climate change resilience, water resources, and urban sustainability.

Connie has lived in Truckee full time since 2016. She currently is serving on the Sierra Business Council's Board of Directors and volunteers with other community-based organizations, including Tahoe Silicon Mountain and serving as a mentor for the Tahoe Pitch Camp. She holds a BS in Natural Resource Management from Virginia Tech. When not in the office, you’ll find Connie skiing or paddle boarding around Lake Tahoe, CA.

Connie says, “I am thrilled to be joining the team at the Lift Truckee. The recent growth at the airport and plans for the future are truly inspiring. I look forward to being a part of making the Lift a hub of community, entrepreneurship, health and wellness, and environmental initiatives.”
